Dark clouds slowly began to go out of your BlackBerry. After its market share and recorded a loss freefall high, a Canadian company that finally managed to record a profit for the fourth quarter ended on 28 February.

The report issued BlackBerry showed net income (net profit) of $ 28 million. This condition is clearly encouraging, because in the same period last year, BlackBerry suffered losses amounting to USD 148 million.

It's just that despite record profits, revenues fell 33% with BlackBerry grossed USD 660 million, of which 42% of which was contributed by the sales of 1.3 million units. Yet in the same period last year, they managed to pocket USD 976 million and sold 3.4 million units of its flagship handheld devices.

However, the good news issued BlackBerry gives good sentiment on the trading floor. Boosted their stock rise. Where the opening session BlackBerry shares sold for USD 1.72 to USD 9.46 at the closing.

Though smartphone sales were declining, but not making the BlackBerry slumped. The CEO, John Chen quite aggressively reduce dependence on hardware sales as a supplier of corporate profits. He is now shifting its focus more on mobile device security software aimed at the enterprise.

This is consistent with Chen statement when responding to the financial statements. He said, BlackBerry this year will continue to focus on growing the company through a number of strategies and investments in their portfolio of products.

"We've had a surefire way to make a profit. So far the product roadmap has been going well. And in the second half we will focus on the stability of income with sustainable profitability,"
