Nokia Networks is accounted for 90% profit Finnish company. So it is only natural that Nokia decided to sell the business which he was not very profitable.
The first, perhaps HERE. Nokia's flagship mapping service will reportedly be sold to the highest bidder in the near future. Nokia was mentioned already approaching companies like Uber Technologies and some German car manufacturer.
Some analysts, as reported by Softpedia News, Tuesday (14/04/2015), claiming Nokia is interested in Alcatel-Lucent. The plan, Nokia will use the money from selling HERE to buy Alcatel-Lucent, in order to compete with Ericsson AB.
Other sources quoted by Bloomberg, Nokia are now in the stage of further negotiations to acquire the French wireless network.
Acquires Nokia will be aimed at the wireless business unit of Alcatel, Alcatel is not the whole business. Action buy Alcatel's wireless business will improve Nokia's position in China, one of the largest markets in the world.
It also will increase the qualification Nokia to get contracts with two major US operators such as Verizon and AT & T.
